Reproduction 18th Century Two Treadle Tape Loom - Ambrosia and Black Walnut

I have been working on getting new legs for these looms for a long while when time permits and I finally have them for this loom.  I wanted splayed legs so getting under this little loom would be easier.  This one I made first so that I could be sure to have the process down before I started a Rosewood loom that is quite pricey to make.  I now feel confident enough to finish that loom and I will in the next month.

This loom sold before it was complete.  I generally do not do that but because this one was going to be a bit pricey I decided to let a customer claim it right away.  I was happy to know it was sold and that I didn't waste a lot of money making one that would be way above my normal pricing.  I think the lovely woman who purchased the loom and I were just at the right place at the right time. :)    She has requested a matching bench and it is all cut out and awaiting hours of sanding.

And here are the picture.  This one is Red Maple Ambrosia and Black Walnut

Here is a video of her in action:

And a few pictures. :)
