A new 2 Treadle loom started
So this one is going to be All walnut including the legs but will have accents in either Wenge (which I'm hoping for) if they ever get 1x in stock again, or yellow-heart or maple (which would be a great contrast). I had considered all walnut and that is still floating in my head.

I think the dark is too dark and the light is too light, lol. Don't like the white at all. Got something rich in the middle?
ReplyDeleteSandy, I decided to use Maple as both maple and walnut are local woods and I had both on hand. Since I'm only closed for a few more days and the hustle and bustle of my daily orders keeps me rather busy I decided to get this one cut out. Today I finish cutting all the bits out and will begin sanding tomorrow. I'm hoping to start the finish tomorrow too :). I'm also gluing up a Maple base today and it will be padauk and maple. I've made one with this combination before but the legs on this one will also be padauk.
